How do I connect my vehicle (add a virtual key)?

After you Sign In to the Tediddle App and Connect a Tesla Account, you need to pick the vehicle you want to track and connect it to Tediddle with a secure virtual key issued by Tesla. The telemetry powers Tediddle to tailor the game to your location. If there is an issue with your virtual key, there will be an empty red box in Step 2 at the bottom of Settings > Vehicle.

To connect a vehicle:

1. In Settings > Vehicle, tap on the vehicle you want to use in the game. A popup appears asking you to confirm. Tap YES.
2. If the key is missing, a popup will prompt you to add it. Just tap YES to continue. If you don't see the popup or run into issues, tap CONNECT VEHICLE to set up the virtual key manually.
3. The tutorial will appear and send you to your Tesla app. Select the vehicle you want to track in the game and then go back to the Tediddle app. Do not close the Tesla app.
4. Once you are back in the Tediddle app, the tutorial will send you to your Tesla app for a second time. A popup appears asking you to allow third-party access to your vehicle. Tap Approve and come back to the Tediddle app again.
5. Sometimes it takes a few minutes to set up the key. If there is a spinning cog next to your active vehicle, give it a minute or try waking up your vehicle. If it just keeps spinning, try restarting the Tediddle app.
6. Once the key is added, the Car icon will show green next to your active vehicle along with a green Link icon after the vehicle name.
